*** Buddy Johnson processes her words for a moment, thinking. "Well...y'know..."
Buddy Johnson says "My dad had a poem for times like this."
*** Buddy Johnson takes a breath before beginning, "And I learned there are troubles, Of more than one kind. Some come from ahead And some come from behind."
*** Buddy Johnson grabs at a crowbar slung over his should, pulling it out and brandishing it around, "But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready, you see. Now my troubles are going To have troubles with /me/!"
*** Michael Fletcher watches Buddy walk away, feeling inspiration, a flame of hope lighting up inside his heart. But fear also overtakes him, fearing for Buddy's life and smooth, beautiful head.
***' A star from the sunlight shines off of Buddy's chromey dome, like the last flicker of hope for mankind.
