Divination spells enable you to learn secrets long forgotten, to predict the future, to find hidden things, and to foil deceptive spells.

Practical application- Diviners are scholars of the arcane arts. Diviners drive the discovery of words of power to allow the furthering of magical power. Every mage in some respect practices this art when he meditates upon his power. He seeks the answer to the question every mage seeks to answer “What were the words of power and in what order were they spoken?” however he completely dedicates his mind to this alone in his studies. Diviners are said to be the smartest magic wielders who possess an almost unbending and unwavering mental constitution. Diviners can see through magic. They can combat mental trickery and physical trickery and are even capable of sensing the intent of persons entering a room. Diviners were executed in droves after the war as to prevent the furthering of the arcane arts. Those who study today operate at a disadvantage. They can no longer communicate with other diviners to share thoughts and sentiments to allow quicker research.

Use- Mostly ritualistic. Some in the moment spells. For example a diviner can translate to any language or crawl through the thoughts of an individual which no one else can do. They can also see traps. Some say they can see in darkness or through walls.
