Runesmithing is the art of writing words of power upon objects or materials to imbue them with certain power

Practical application- Runesmithing was one of the foremost schools. It is the simplest way to use arcane energy. Forging a sword with a rune on it may imbue it with an incredible power such as a flaming blade or holy aura. Runesmiths are not so common anymore as they are easily identifiable. Most runesmiths have tattoos of runes which allow the user powers. The more of these tattoos the weaker the individual however as they sap power from the individual as well as the higher planes. Swords with many runes become brittle like glass and will shatter with immense force.

Use- Almost no in the moment use. Crafting a rune could take weeks.
